Gilded Altar is a small UK shop for lamps you actually want in the room. Meditation Buddhas, laughing Buddhas, and DriftGlow shades, made by hand in Indonesia and sent from the United Kingdom.
I started the shop because a good lamp changes the feel of a space. These are for quiet evenings, a bit of ritual, and gifts that do not feel generic. Each piece is handmade, so the crackle and colour shift a little from the photos. That is the point.
How it works
You order here. The lamp is dispatched from the UK, tracked, usually within 2 working days. A cable and LED bulb are included with DriftGlow lamps. If something arrives damaged, email me and I will sort a replacement or a refund.
